MINISTER URGES STAFF TO BE DILIGENT AT WORK

The Minister for Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development (MLGDRD), Mr. Daniel Botwe has urged management and staff  of his sector Ministry to be passionate and diligent in their roles and responsibilities as civil servants 

 In his address at a staff durbar held on Thursday, December 23, 202,1 at the Ministry, he urged them to be abreast with issues and operations of the Ministry, its Departments, and the district assemblies (MDAs). 

He further noted that every unit and directorate within the Ministry would be involved in more activities and programmes on the ministry's operations across the country.

He also requested that management and the executive of the welfare committee meet to discuss the improvement of the welfare funds for the benefit of its members.

He reminded staff to continue with the adherence to the COVID-19 safety protocol to reduce the spread of the virus this yuletide as they travel to their various places for the holidays.

The Human Resource Management Director, Mr. Kwabena Denkyira, thanked the staff for their hard work and sacrifices through the year and encouraged them to continue the good work for the betterment of the Ministry and the nation.
