Chief Director of MLGDRD Celebrates Award-Winning PR Unit's Triumph

The Chief Director at the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, Mr. Amin Abdul-Rahaman, has warmly welcomed and received the award winning Deputy Public Relations Officer, Ms. Darling Maame Efua Cann, and the entire Public Relations Unit under the Leadership of Madam Matilda Tettey. The occasion marked the return of the award-winning team after their performance at the Government Public Relations Excellence Awards (GoPREX) 2023.

Mr. Abdul-Rahaman, beaming with pride and excitement, graciously accepted the prestigious trophy presented by Ms. Cann and commended the entire Public Relations Unit for their exceptional dedication and hard work.

 The Chief Director expressed his joy at the unit's success, recognizing it as a testament to their commitment to transparency, effective communication, and promoting the Ministry's mission of decentralization and rural development.

He extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Cann for being crowned the "PROs Assist.PR Officer of the Year 2023." He lauded and acknowledged the pivotal role she played in supporting the Unit to this remarkable achievement.

"I am truly proud of each member of our Public Relations Unit for their outstanding contributions to our mission. This award is a reflection of your dedication and professionalism," Mr. Abdul-Rahaman remarked, addressing the gathered team. The Chief Director went on to pledge his unwavering support for the Public Relations Unit, expressing his confidence in their ability to bring home more trophies in the future.
