Hon. Vincent Ekow Assafuah, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization, and Rural Development, conducted an official visit to the Offinso North District Assembly. The visit focused on engaging with local leaders and inspecting ongoing development projects to ensure their successful implementation.
During his visit, Hon. Assafuah commended the district assembly and its partners for their dedication and hard work. He highlighted the importance of visible outcomes from these projects, emphasizing that successful initiatives are a testament to the administration’s commitment to regional development.
The Deputy Minister underscored the critical role of technical skills in achieving development goals. He encouraged continued investment in expertise and resources to enhance project effectiveness. In this context, he announced the forthcoming launch of the District Resilience Improvement Program (DRIP), which aims to further strengthen local infrastructure and support development efforts.
Hon. Assafuah also addressed current challenges, including the need for improved accommodation solutions for workers outside the district. He highlighted the importance of engaging local engineers and community workers to ensure the success and sustainability of development projects.
The visit reinforced the Deputy Minister’s commitment to overseeing and supporting local development, ensuring that projects are well-managed and deliver tangible benefits to the Offinso North community.
